Inside Soccer iQ: Quinn's Personal Journey Through Private Training

Hello my name is Quinn Goldie. I play club soccer for the Nationals and am a starting Varsity player for Grand Blanc Highschool. Recently, I have committed to play D2 soccer at Tiffin University. Here is how my experience at Soccer IQ has made me the player I am today.

Soccer IQ has transformed not only my technical ability but also my mentality as an individual. As a player I really wanted to not only improve my skills but also my confidence, I've found private training at Soccer IQ to be an valuable asset. Here’s why it stands out and why I keep coming back.

One of the most significant advantages of private training is the personalized attention I receive. Unlike group sessions where the coach's focus is divided among many players with different skill sets, private sessions allow for a tailored experience. The coaches design drills and exercises specifically suited to my skill level and developmental needs. These focused sessions ensure that I work on areas that require improvement and improve at a quicker pace. Soccer IQ also created a positive environment to allow for improvement. I was able to make mistakes in order to learn from them. Instead of letting these mistakes take me down, they were able to make them beneficial to me as a player.

Soccer IQ hasn’t only improved my on the ball skills but it has completely transformed who I am as a player. Before Soccer IQ I was definitely more of a timid player. I struggled with having confidence which caused me to not trust my skills and play very reserved. After just a few months, I found myself way more confident on the ball. I trusted myself and my skills and began to take risks in my game. I have gained the confidence that my game once lacked. Soccer IQ also created a sense of motivation. Working one-on-one with a coach made me want to work harder. The direct feedback and the personalized goals set by my coach create a sense of accountability that drives me to put in the effort. This motivational aspect is crucial for maintaining a high level of commitment and making consistent progress.

Soccer IQ has been a crucial part of my soccer experience. From improving my skills to just simply gaining the confidence I needed. I am able to attribute a significant part of my success to them, including becoming a starter on my high school Varsity team and fulfilling my dream of playing collegiate soccer. Soccer IQ has taught me that anything is possible if you put in the work. Just six months ago these accomplishments seemed unattainable. But, now with the confidence and training, I am looking forward to my future in soccer.
